Default your favorite year corvette?

i was asked the other day what my favorite year was when it comes to the different styles the vette has had since its inception in 53. i thought it was a good question because it made me ponder on that one. the 78 to 82 was a very nice style, but not enough hp. the c2 67 i really liked (coupe) with the big block engines. how about yours?

Love the C2's too and either the 63 or 67.

Oh boy! Nothing like picking a non-controversial topic.

1965 C2 coupe in Nassau Blue, that was Vette love for me.
C5 coupe and convertible are both excellent.
C6 Grand Sport coupe or convertible are my favorite overall.

If we're talking strictly styling, it's a very tough choice for me. My short list would have to include '65 and '66 (coupes and convertibles), '68 and '69 (same).

I think my favorite would be the '62. It retains the early styling but added the 327 engine, body-matched coves, chromed rockers, and the back end began to show hints of the C2 that was coming. My first Vette was this '62,

Sorry, but I always prefer the latest models. So the C7 has won me for now. I do love my 06 too, but if $ were no object there would be a C7 in my garage

My favorite too, and the first car I ever owned (at age 21).

As much as I love driving and staring at my 2012 CE ZR1 while it is parked in my garage, the 1967 427 tri-powers are my favorites.

Based on the crazy market values of these vettes, many others share my opinion.

I like every year except the C4's. Can't even put my finger on why. Just never liked the design overall I guess.

79-82 for sure. But.. Your right about under powered and those aren't a joy to drive. Plus those are now aging rides that need a lot of work. hence I drive a C6.
but someday I will be getting one just because.

:cheers
