82 Owners Pics & Descriptions....
Tried to get the 82 Pics Section going in the "sticky", but having a hard time copying the "attached images" and inserting them into the "sticky" itself. They will not copy or post, so rather than having complications with transfering pics, here is a new thread for our 82's pics and descriptions. That way we can all post our own pics and add any info about what we are doing to maintain and enjoy our rides.
So we need "mashmc' & prlwng to repost their pics in this thread. Hope we can get this going...........thanks.......Tom
And as always the link to our 82 "sticky" whenever the need arises.

My 82 "dd" when it's washed and looking halfway decent
Over 111,000 miles on the Vette, it will be 2 years of ownership for me March 22nd and I have put just about 44,000 miles on it since purchased.
You should have seened it the other day loaded with salt.... but it washed right off...
My goal is to keep it running forever.... Tom

A Wonderful Hobby
Got the exact one that I wanted since 1982 while a college senior - the interior and exterior colors, full set of options, and, yes,
the legendary crossfire which nothing could touch in `82.

Keep posting pics of your 82's, I know I am enjoying them
I almost purchased a Two-Tone Blue, and ended up with my Silver/Blue.
I really wanted to get a Two-Tone White & Gray, but that was not to be.....that color combo seems hard to find, at least 2 years ago it was...... Tom

[QUOTE=scorpion18z;1586314148]Finished this project last year after spending a year in the making: Took it to my first corvette show at Silver Springs in Ocala, Florida and won "Ladies Choice."
Another nice color combo I think I'll just get one of each, so that way I can have them all.......
Still have the White/Gray on the top of my list.......Tom

SSROADSTER-your twin
When I purchased it 8 yrs. ago it had 37k, I've put another 13k on it. I'm the third owner(father/son had it originally). Had minor problems with the crossfire originally, other than that all have been maintenance and replacement of aged parts.

yes it is, but only you are the better looking twin you have kept yourself in better condition, if only I followed in your footsteps.....
and your front sits lower than mine, mmmmmm do you have the FE7? I may have to make some adjustments....
I always admire the way yours looks in that pic.......
glad you made a guest appearance (your 82 that is....), still looks great even with all of those miles.........

It's interesting that you made a comment about the height. I always thought the back set about an 1" high and the front was an 1" low. I have the longer bolts to lower the back, but just haven't taken the time to change them. The height of the car is what it was 8 years ago when I purchased it. I'm the 3rd owner-originally it was a father/then son car. It had 38K on it when I bought it. This picture is before I had it painted(same color) 2 years ago. The picture doesn't show it, but the original color had faded quite a bit. Maybe I should leave the height alone.
