5000 Miles, 2 Days, New C5 is Home!
2500 mile flight from Arizona to Pennsylvania with a layover in Michigan followed by 2500 miles on the road trip back. It was just awesome. We had a great time.
Right after purchase: Hitting the road in PA.
Stopped in Cleveland to pick up my son and grabbed this pic of the arch in St. Louis.
Oklahoma was a chipper 30 degrees at 7am.
67 degrees about 30 miles East of Amarillo. Finally time to drop that top.
Smiles all the way around enjoying the warm Texas weather.
New Mexico! Getting Close now.
Typical Southwest scenery in New Mexico.
Time to knock 2500 miles of grime off the car and start working on 11 years of cotton towel swirls on clear coat. Broke out the Meguiars 83 and NXT Wax with the Porter Cable random orbital.
NXT helps hide some of the past, but I’ll be working sections of the car over time until they are taken care of.
She’ll be getting more of the business end of my PC.
The rear deck was particularly bad. After one run I’m pleased, but it’s going to need more work.
It was getting late and we’re heading out to dinner so I had to wrap it up

Congrats. What part of AZ? Pheonix, Tucson, SV? Scottsdale Pavillions is always nice.

Looks good.
I wish I had your knack for paint polishing!
I picked up this '01 this month - same great color scheme, but A4 Auto with just under 36k miles.

No better way to get to know your car then a long road trip. Your car looks great. Welcome to the forum and don't forget the wave.

What a great way to really get to know the car - glad the weather was decent for the trip. Congrats on the purchase and best of luck with the car.

I did the same thing when I bought mine (only 2200 miles though). Great way to learn the car and have fun at the same time. That road trip was a lot of fun. Congrats on the new wheels!
