Was shocked that the live reveal barely showed the car itself, just the people talking about it. This video is much better to show what the car is.
It's going to be a love it or hate it proposition. For those that think the base Corvette was too "boy racer" looking, they'll hate this one. It takes everything and just makes it bigger. Bigger spoiler, wheels, vents and throw in a splitter with side fins. It's a "Texas" Corvette.
Will say, the grille is a home run compared to the base/Z51 grille!!!

Did he say the new auto was 4 kilograms (almost 9 lbs) lighter than the 6 speed?

Good to HEAR there are three different levels of downforce packages..
I'm not quite used to all the spoilers and splitters..
I look forward to viewing all three downforce packages as time moves forward..
Good info..
Thanks for posting.

I know some people get these cars for drag racing, but what a shame it would be to reduce this world class road course car to a drag strip racer. It's obviously designed for road course track racing and it looks to belong in the "supercar" class even if it doesn't have a super car price tag. Still not in love with the rear but congrats to Chevy for bringing a car of this level to the regular Joe's of America
