Default Cup Holder Install?

Hi all, just received my new single cup holder from CorvetteMods today,
and was surprised to find no directions, fasteners, tape etc. to mount
the holder. From pics I've seen I know it looks clean/almost factory when
it's in the car. My vette is stored and covered so I can't just check it out
right now,(plus it's only -5*) Just curious how it attaches, hoping I'm not
missing anything in the box. Won't get the car out til April.

Thanks for any help.

If it's the one that goes on passenger side, it just slides under the lip of the console and rests on the floor, position it back towards seat as far as you can it won't go anywhere.

With the roads where I live in UK, and the way a C4 rides, if I had cupholders, I'd just get wet carpets!!

Yeap, just that easy. I've had one for years in my 96 and it works great.

Yep as everyone stated just pops right in. Really sucks for passengers though I think. I only use it for longer drives or road trips.

That is why I used the double cup holder I bought as a template and made my own from sheet Al covered with felt. Then I pop riveted two folding, collapsible cup holders to it so my wife would have more leg room when we were not using them. Covered the edges with aftermarket car door edge trim. Sold my purchased cup holder on eBay.

Nice work. I think I've seen this before ... do you have a link to the "build?"

I slipped my under the lip, then drilled two small screws to insure it would never fallout and spill on the floor. Painted the screws black, and you don't see it.

If you have GPS, you might want to this with it.

Got one from Ecklers... It was easy to install. However, it does not fit snug up against the carpet???? I had to take double sided 3M tape to get it to lay a little flatter. However, it still sticks out at the bottom. Two sided tape does not work. Other than that, it looks really good and works very well with my Speedway coffee cup.

Default Cup holders

Both the single and double slip under the lip. My 86 had a single in it when I got it, but needed two. Once slips out and the other slips in, easy to do.
