It appears to be a work in progress, certainly not the way I would showcase the steps of construction. I keep my cars in the shop until the work is presentable. This may be a guy who is taking the long way around and just is too impatient to wait. I know by the looks of the hood, it went from the shipping box directly to the car. No prep work at all. By the application of the "CORVETTE" logo's to the doors he must be trying to make every guy/gal have the chance to see it's a Corvette! The Wing is about as useless as a teat on a boar hog, but maybe he envisions it's a track car?
I wouldn't say anything wrong about the guy....... I too have been accused of heresy by the corvette purists on this forum.
My take is it's just unfinished and confused about what it is.

Hideous. Definitely belongs in the Wally World parking lot.
