Yet another paint flaw. Paint peeling / flaking / bubbling
Have another paint flaw on my car. This one is a little worse.
It's at the top of the drivers side headlight. It looked like a dried up leaf at first but upon closer inspection I saw the paint was missing off my fender.
That side also has the bumper cover not snapping down flush and the headlight is a good bit raised off the cover.
10/14/13 Update:
Update about the front fender paint issue.
Per GM Tech Support they are stating that there is excess material left behind from the mold.
Solution:
Sand and apply touch up paint. We will see how it looks.
Rear Bumper is realigned and good according to the Service manager.
Drivers side front bumper near fender popping up.
Drivers Headlight
Paint Run at rear drivers fender

Melting Slicks
Did GM revert back to 1960's technology for these cars? I have a feeling if everyone that buys one took it to a pro to look over they would be posting up pics too. Most people just don't look that closely, as we expect factory paint to be seamless.

For the fender? Sure!
You're crazy if you think that's acceptable!
It doesn't take a magnifying glass to see that the paint is chipping away.
Are you saying it's "normal" and I should I just live with it and not worry about anything else happening to it? Such as moisture getting under the paint during the winter and freezing and lifting the paint up further? Would that be acceptable too? LMAO

Yeah, that's right. Who needs quality anyway? Why would anyone want quality?
I saw the lifted headlight problem on a car at SEMA, except this one was on the right side. It also had a gap to the fender. The left headlight wasn't lifted, and fit properly to the fender opening.
I hope GM gets this quality situation corrected soon. The first thing non-Corvette people mention to me about the C7 when they see it is, not how great it looks, but how bad the orange peel and fit is. I don't know what car market they expected this bad quality would be acceptable, but it isn't going to cut it here in California, where we have a lot of high end European and Japanese cars.

That does look bad... let us know what the dealer says when they see it.

I can't blame you for being upset - spending that kind of money and then having problems like that is unacceptable. Hope the dealer comes through for you.

Is there some sort of statute of limitations for reporting problems?
I say bring them on as you find them.

Drifting
That could become a huge problem.

Looks to me like the OP removed the headlight to me just like he did with the tail light. He clearly didn't get it back in place correctly.
Can't believe this is how this came from the factory and he is just now complaining about it. Anyone who would complain and post about a tail light that squeaks only when he pushes on it would have complained about this headlight gap way earlier than this.

PLUS. If I did, which I didn't. How the HECK did I get dried paint to "wrinkle up?" You must have bumped your head.
Sorry, I just just noticed the paint issue. Just so you can get your facts straight. I did NOT remove my Taillights.

Fake, I'm not buying it like some would say forget about it and drive your car it can't be perfect after seeing all problems with panel fitments and paint I'm defiantly waiting for 2015 year model or even later if they don't solve quality problems.
