Default Caravaggio carbon steering wheel trim

We just finished the mold for the center steering wheel in the mat carbon.

That looks great John. My concern is the airbag. Does the spot the airbag sits in protrude through that piece such that the bag, upon deployment, wouldn't come in contact with the carbon fiber? As I stated in your last steering wheel thread, I'd be concerned about that piece if it's in the path of the exploding bag. CF likes to crack and then become slivers which isn't good for either the airbag or the face that's about to hit it.

If the bag explodes outward enough such that it never touches the piece in question, then you've got a real winner there.

When I first saw the C7, I liked 99% of it. You just fixed the 1%.

And to above, if this is just a carbon wrap over a core I couldn't imagine the airbag causing any issues.

It makes no contact with the air bag, this is part of the wheel and it sits under the air bag.

It is made to replace the stock piece.

I prefer the D wheel.
When I get my vert later this month or early Dec, I want to find out my options on a D wheel.

That looks very nice!!

That is perfect for those that have the carbon fiber dash option to match.

Great work, the steering wheel is my least favorite part of the interior and you just pretty much fixed it. I imagine this will match the dash CF perfectly?
