Took my Stingray to a local car show today
I took my Stingray to a local car show today and had way too much fun with it! I arrived at 8:30 a.m., did a quick detail check, then barely had time to eat lunch at 1:30 p.m. and do a quick look around at other cars because I was fielding questions from people about it all day long! Everyone loved it with the exception of one gentleman that owns a C6 and he described himself as being "on the fence" about it. This car BREEDS fun everywhere I go with it!
Here are a few photos from the show. (I entered it in the Corvette class but didn't place. Judging was conducted by one judge per class, and based on the Corvettes that the Corvette judge chose, he was really into modified Vettes. I should have entered mine in the "Original Class." )
FIRST PLACE CORVETTE
SECOND PLACE CORVETTE
THIRD PLACE CORVETTE

Maybe it's just me, but the second place 'vette looks like a darn clown car.
your 'vette looks great next to the other, irrespective of the competition.

There were a couple of conversations about it with a couple of other Corvette owners (including the first place winner), but I don't think the judge even noticed.

Who decided the winners?
The 1st place car looks like the front lip in the rim is actually wider than the rear! I know it prob. isn't but its darn close and looks horrible IMHO.
I love your yellow c7!

Thanks! I don't know who the judge was, but I know there was only one judge per class. No biggie though.

Yeah, I didn't...I've been to too many shows to know that single judge judging is very subjective.
So one might ask why I posted the winners in my original post. Fair question with a logical response. I figured someone would ask if I won, then I would say that I didn't place, which would lead to someone asking what cars won, which would lead to me posting photos of the winners, which would lead to the conversation we have just had. I circumvented the unneeded steps.
