Default 2015 ZO6 or ZO7 wide-body?

I had a 2008 C6 Z51 manual. It was my first Corvette and I loved it.I became enamored with the wide-body of the ZO6 and ended up having someone assume my lease. My dealership told me I would not be happy getting the ZO6 for reasons it wouldn't tell me. It ended up it understood I would be rather unhappy with the Grand Sport coming out with the wide-body.

The only spy shots of the 2015 ZO6 or 7 look like it is not a wide-body. Of course, at my age maybe I didn't notice it.

Anyone have any inside information?

I presently have a 2012 CTS-V coupe with six speed manual. It is an incredible car. My last car was a 2008 E90 M3 six speed. Even though the CTS-V coupe weighs >400 pounds than the M3, it actually handles a little better on the track I think primarily to the magnetic shocks.

I'm contemplating getting the lease assumed and going with the C7 Z51 and magnetic shocks. I understand that is the only combination that gives you the five selections with the performance management system.

Thanks so much.

I also have a 2012 V Coupe and love it, I have owned several C6s along with the Wide body I will wait for the performance model C7 as I am sure it will be awesome and worth the wait. I think we will know more info on the hi po model in January?

All speculation at this point and I have not seem the spy shots so I cannot comment on what they showed, but I would think that a Z07 or what ever it is called will have wider tires then the current C7, so a wide body maybe needed as it was with the C6 Z.

Unless they do it the other way and create more room inboard.

it will be widebody without a shadow of a doubt! it will have tires/wheels setup similar to the ZR1.

It'll be something like this. Probably a different hood, but I haven't had anything different to go by to throw on here yet.

I think the Stingray is wide enough. I hope they don't go dog nuts and make this thing too wide! Won't fit though my gate.
