*Glove Box* access

Default *Glove Box* access

As most folks know the glove box will only work if the key fob is in place and if in valet mode you can not access it. In the future I can forsee someone having an issue accessing the glove box due it something not working. While in the midst of my tear down I found this handy lil thing.

If you open the passenger door and look at the flat panel there is a small cover. Remove the cover and use a long screw driver and push in and it will release the hing holding the glove box.

They'd know this if they would read the owners manual. Pages 10-40 to 10-43 which contains the following (and much more):

Rear Compartment Fuse Block
The rear compartment fuse block is in the rear of the vehicle, under the load floor. Lift the carpet and access door in the center of the load floor to access the fuses.
