Burning Brakes
After poking around, I'm pretty sure that's a Whipple installed backwards to minimize intake manifolding. There must be a shaft on the right side for the power takeoff, like a Magnacharger set-up. Whipple Twin-screws are much better blowers than the Eaton Roots blowers used on the ZR1 - more efficient. That means 1/2 the power takeoff and 1/2 the temperature rise in the charge for the same pressure ratio. This thing is gonna be a monster !! I'd guess 650-700 HP, easy !!

Melting Slicks
Oh dear!!! That was fast! Much faster than I would have expected. I would have figured we would be waiting months to see this kind of progress. I cant wait to see the final numbers!
That said, is that thing actually bolted down or is it just sitting on an aluminum plate on top of the block?
