Default Herb comes North for '13 NRB Z06 to add to his '12 CE ZR1-pics

Herb and his wife took the 1st flight out of WARM Ft Lauderdale, FL yesterday morning and arrived at BWI in Baltimore to chilly 65 degrees. Their mission was to pick up a new 2013 Night Race Blue Z06 to pair up with their stunning Centennial Edition 2012 ZR1. They had done two Corvette Museum deliveries in a row before this and now have owned 4 Corvettes in 6 yrs! Production numbers are low...ONLY 45 of the 471 Z06's were Night Race Blue Metallic in 2013! They are active in the Corvette world attending many events so give them a big wave. Congrats.

Next stop...Sunny Florida.

Wow.. That is a lot of Corvettes in a short time. Do they keep them all?

Love that Night Race Blue...

Great job Mike...

Looking so fine.

The red calipers and chrome wheels are excellent accents with the Night Race Blue.

That last shot of them pulling away from the delivery area is the beginning of great drive home.

Nope, just the two...12 ZR1 and this new Z06.

That color is absolutely stunning, I'm sure they will enjoy it very much. You must have a great detail crew down there, all of your deliveries look meticulously done

That NRB has its own personality!

His 2013 NRB ZO6 maybe be rare, but that 2012 ZRI Centennial Edition has got to be just as rare. Not many of those floating around on the streets these days.

Speaking of new car detail, Mike......what product(s) do you and your detail crew at Criswell use to make your deliveries sparkle? And, does Criswell have their own gas station on sight? Criswell sells literally thousands of vehicles annually, and I find it hard to believe each and every one of them is driven to the neighbohood gas station for the customary new car and truck fill up.

So, no more 2013 C6ZO6's left at Criswell?

And about 3 2013 ZRI's left at Criswell?

You have to be down to about your last 20 or so 2013 C6's now.

Today is your only day off this week, Mike...... so you are not allowed to reply to my posts today...... until tomorrow. I checked with the Corvette Forum Moderators, and this is a C.F. rule specifically designed for Mike Furman.

So, go cut the lawn and take your family for a ride in your "new" C4! Don't forget the towels on the seats to protect the white leather!!!

It's nice to see a Z06 without the full-width spoiler for a change. I'm sure that I'm in the minority but I much prefer the standard Z06/GS one.

Yes we have a gas pump on site. I use Meguiars spray show and shine for touch up after our clean up does their job.

Ps: diesel fuel for the trucks we go off site to get.

1 Z06 60th left but I am supposed to deliver that Wednesday 11am. 2 ZR1's left. Approx 25 total C6's left...from over 200 in March!
...and yes I was flying all day to get to my Stingray training in Nevada.

Thanks for the good wishes. I LOVE MY WIFE!!! I was thinking about getting a Camaro SS 1LE but after renting one for a week in California to go to the Pebble Beach Concours and the vintage car races at Laguna Seca, she didn't think I would be happy with it-"not quick enough" she said. (She also didn't like the fact it had a tiny non-lighted vanity mirror). After seeing the new Stingray, she suggested I get one or a C6 Z06. Bet everybody wishes they had a wife like mine! Mike was awesome. Car was detailed and ready to go when we arrived. 1038 miles later, we are back in not-so-sunny South Florida.
