Freeze Plugs- 76
Hi all, has anyone ever used the rubber freeze plugs from Dorman? I'm thinking of using one on front passenger side behind motor mount. My fear is that rubber will detoriate, break loose and fall off inside the engie block over time and clog it. On the other hand, they look a whole lot easier to install than the factory type. Any thoughts?

I find most Dorman products are cheap parts made from China that don't always conform to the correct specs. Personally, I would use brass plugs.
I don't have any experience with rubber plugs, just with Dorman products on occasion.

Thanks. I do see that Dorman has a copper plug. Any thoughts on their copper plugs? Is there another manufactoror for the brass plugs that you would recommend? Thanks.
