That would be one way to solve the hood issue I was concerned with. I like it.

Very nice. I did not like the hood bulge for the C6.

I'd love to know if they plan on reducing the 11.5 to 1 CR to make better results with supercharging.

with direct direction; you can manipulate when the fuel gets squirted into the cylinder. In a way... you can negate the effects of higher compression ratio (to an extent).

The truck engines thay already have supercharged - are high CR as well.

Agreed, perhaps there is some cooling effect when the fuel is sprayed into the chamber. But that much compression is excessive to be ideal for boost, 11.5:1 and 11:1 truck, wow! The ZR1 is 9.1:1 and that's excessive to be ideal for ultimate power but sure helps the low end drive-ability, a good compromise. They must have some tricks up their sleeves.
I'm an old school 70's turbo guy, when you built your own heat exchangers, headers, blew boost through the carburetor and a computer is something that would crush your car. Man things got a lot easier LOL.

Chris,

Love your C7 hood! And, as a poster above, while I have always admired your engineering, never fell in love with your C6 hood.

Your C7 hood is fantastic and I can't wait to learn about the rest of your C7 package/options.
