Or do you have one ...when will you stop with the huge mods ... How long is it before you reach lets say 30,000 in mods large or small ...I know some of you have surpassed this mark , what's your thought ..

I would say the majority of my mod'ing is done: FI setup, blower cam, double din with full sound deadening, aftermarket fascia and hood, rims, but there will always be small things as time goes on...

You got me good!... JUST before I keyed up the radio
Well said, my thoughts exactly. Like another forum member said to me a while ago.... "It's only money, you'll make more"
I am enjoying constructing the perfect C5 for me. Could I hold off and save for a while and go "up" to a C6 Z or C7 one day, maybe but I live in the now and am having wayyyy too much fun with my car to stop

the number I started with was 450 RWHP and then 500RWHP
then you couldn't hear the stereo and that needed some $$ attention
the number is a moving target that I cant seem to identify. So, I will keep spending until its done. That will be never...

$ 1,000,000.00 ( said while holding my pinky to my mouth ) (Mr Bill please insert picture of Dr. Evil here.) That's my number, don't think my wife will agree though, her number for me is $ 0.00 .
My daughters upcoming wedding is ruining any mods I had planned. No new truck, no S/C for the vette, no vacation for a year. Only things I can justify are maintenance related, tires when it needs 'em, brake pads when it needs 'em, stuff like that.

Probably spent clost to $15K on track handling, safety and reliability mods. I am very satisfied with where the car is right now. I could spend another $30-40K in a flash on a big motor and other go faster mods, but then the car would be much faster than the driver. Not worth it.
