Default WTB C6 with rebuilt title

Perfer 08+, but will consider ls2 cars as well. Willing to travel for the right car. Vette must have a manual transmission and can't be yellow. Thanks!

Why a rebuilt title? What's your price range?

Cause I'm in the service and don't make enough money to buy a brand new, clean title vette. My price range is $18-21k

There are a few out there, but a lot of the sellers want unsupportable prices for them--prices you could buy clean title for. Typical of a lot of private parties that don't have a clue what a branded title does. My DD is rebuilt, and it came at a discount of about 40% to 50%. That's the high end of the spectrum, but it needed tires and still had a small dent. Most of the branded Vettes are running higher than that discount, but I wouldn't go much less. There is some guy in Minnesota with a rebuilt 2005 convertible with 55k on the clock that wants $25k for it. I can't imagine you are interested, but let me know if you are.

There is a decently priced one at a dealer in Michigan. They have it listed as a manual, but it isn't:

You could also look at some higher mileage cars. There are plenty of coupes out there quite cheap.

If I stumble across anything else, I'll post it up for you.

EDIT: Also a rebuilt convertible in Miami: http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/ctd/3971346222.html Not much in the way of photos or info.

If you can find your way to loving yellow, there's this: http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

Thanks for the links. And I agree, most people with branded title vettes try to get clean title prices for them... I just gotta be patient and something will pop up.. Hopefully. Oh, and that dealership in Miami is a scam.

Auto Trader has a 08 auto for 25k or offer looks to have 3lt and Nav. It's been up for at least a month now and as of Monday he still has it. He may be willing to go down to 21. I considered offering him 19 for it but never got around to it because I am afraid of how hard it would be to title here.

I've had 3 rebuilt title cars and never had an issues registering them. If it was a manual I'd consider it. Thanks for the heads up though!

If it's rebuilt no trouble with the title. If it still has the salvage title, in KY you have to provide receipts for parts replaced and an affidavit signed buy the person who preformed the repairs stating all that was done to the car to make it street worthy again, then take it in for an inspection just to aply for a rebuilt title.
