Which 6 bolt heads?
Decided to bite the bullet n opt for 6 bolt heads instead of a set of wcch stage 2 ls7 heads. That way if the hp bug bites I've got the heads for a aggressive build. Prob leaning towards a set of mast 305s but what other quality options should I consider? Prc 285cc heads? Rhs 291cc heads? War hawk 12degree heads?

Running PRC 285 without issue. Do you have a 6 bolt block or are you doing it just for the thicker decks or plans to upgrade later?
Any of them are pretty nice. The brodix look like a nice choice. Mast are good if you want to pay the extra.

Stock block but if I decide to go crazy I have the heads to suit. Stock heads run out 900rwhp from what I've been told. Mite aswell invest in 6 bolt n sell mine off. Works out only a lil more than doin mine up. Also prc work out 3k with s/s valves n the mast are 3500 but most builders prefer the mast for quality n price. Undecided

I'd go with the Mast heads.

If the question is mast or PRC than mast for $500 is a no brainer. Not sure who told you a stock casting is only good to 900rwhp? We have made 1000 + to the wheels on 4 bolt stock casting plenty of times. My last motor made 1105rwhp and i'm confidant it would have taken more. Never turned it up past that. That was with a stock ls9 head. Little better casting but still. Your tuner is what matters. A bad tuner can push water in any setup. The WCCH ALLPro retro head would be at the top of my list.Along with the mast 305. If your looking for a budget 6 bolt than based on experience with the older cathedral castings from TFS i'd say their new ls3 6 bolt casting might be something to look at.

ERL recommended Brodix BR7 heads for 1k to 1.3k hp boosted application. Took those and complete long block they built should arrive now finally in next two weeks!!!

It isn't a $500 difference between PRC and mast, it is $1300. The $3500 mast have SS intake valves which is $2300 for the PRC heads. The $3000 PRC heads are Ti valves. Add $800-900 to the mast for TI valves which brings them to $4300-4400 for Ti valves.

Are u guys running the mast 305s running with the upgraded Titan valves or sticking with the lightened stainless valves on boosted applications where a huge cam
Is not required?

If you want to rev it high at all with a huge intake valve I would keep the Ti valves. Otherwise I would plan on lowering redline a bit.

I think my heads were 5300 and that was with CHE bushed rockers instead of the needle bearing ones. I believe they have inconel stainless exhaust valves and titanium intake valves they were also CNC ported. both Andy from A&A and seth from the E RL both recommended Richard at West Coast cylinder head. if your pricing out cylinder heads make sure you compare all the upgrades

Ls7 already has high lift and high RPMs so unless you want to downgrade from stock, I would do them. No other LS motor has a huge 2.2" intake valve. There is a reason they are Ti factory. People complain enough about a heavy SS exhaust valve, I don't even want to know how bad a SS intake valve that size with boost pushing against it would be.

Lol your post reads word for word what my receipt from WCCH says, the only difference is all pro and Brodix. I did not buy an assembled motor from Erl because I already had a boosted application that's why erl told me to get them from WCCH I was just making changes to my build because I wasn't happy with the horsepower output. I know you can't wait to get yours back together I'll be installing in about a week but I'm dreading the tuning process all over again
