After 10+ years on this great enthusiast site mostly on the C5 forum, I have always had my tripleblack C5.
I enjoyed it for almost 13 years.
Many great memories in a wonderful car.
But I could not resist the lure of the things that are so appealing to me in a corvette all in one beautiful package:
1) Wide body of Z06
2) LS7
3) Ragtop
4) Manual six speed transmission
When I saw the prices on these cars, I could not resist.
I hemmed and hawed and in the end it was my wife that encouraged me to pull the trigger.
So this past Sunday afternoon the Intercity Lines truck pulled up in front of my home and delivered my new tripleblack... a 2013 427.
Thanks to Tim Boone at Boardwalk Chevrolet. Unbelievable prices and great guy to do business with.
There were no surprises. All was as Tim advertised.
Thanks to Jim at Intercity Lines. Very personable and a pleasure to do business with. Jim, kudos to you for having Andy as one of your drivers. Great guy. Very patient and careful with my baby. Delivered safe and sound with 10 miles on the odometer.
I highly recommend Intercity if you need a car transported.
I have taken two small cruises in the car and am looking forward to many years of enjoyment.
Now for the obligatory pics!
I'd been waiting for this truck
Andy at work...
It's alive!!

Congrats!!!
Awesome car!!
Very similar to mine. Have the zr1 chrome rims.
I'm pretty sure the black rims will be much easier to keep clean and they look great!!
