Default PVGP Display Car Interior

The C7 on display at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix has the Grey 3LT Interior with the Grey "suede" seat inserts and black "suede" upper trim, 7 Speed Manual and standard dash (no carbon fiber). Here are a few more photo's:

The grey is just way too light in color for me.

Thank you for the pic's! It changed my mind. I wasn't going to order CF Dash but now I will. I think the color makes the whole interior look cheap! And the car doesn't deserve that...rrm

Thanks for the excellent pics. First view of the quarter window I've seen from the interior.

The grey looks similar to the color I had in my old bimmer. It's nice to look at when you're sitting in the car but the seats stained very easily on the door side of the lower cushion from the dye in your pants (especially jeans) when you were sliding in and out. Just something those of you getting grey might want to watch out for.

BTW - when you were there, up close did the Bose labels on the speaker grilles look like they were just stuck on top or were they inset? I'm asking because I want to know if I'll be able to remove them without the speaker looking like something is missing.

Interesting to note that the floor mat attachment points have reverted to those used on the early C6. Gone are the L hooks of 2008 and up. Guess too many lady's tore their nylons ........... O/p, thank you for some really great pics.

IMO: I think the dash needs carbon fibre. Looks a bit dull in silver. Really don't like that ugly "screen" up/down button. I have no idea what they were thinking. After designing everything else, that's the best they could do?

Making the wheel look like a real stingray fish is a bit corny for me. I'd rather have a more serious look to the wheel than something playful.

I dare anyone to look out that rear porthole window from the driver's seat and see anything of value.

After expanding the picture, it looks like an inset. Worse, I'll bet they are pinned to the plastic grill.

Very solid inside. All surfaces felt substantial. No cheap plastic or Rubbermaid finished like the C6. The grab bar was one example:

Here are a few more:

Thanks, now I can stop thinking about that particular mod. I had been blowing up all the photos I could get of that part of the interior trying to figure it out (some photos looked tacked on and others looked inset depending on the lighting and the camera angle) so it's good to have the opinion of someone who's spent some time up close and personal with the car.

Greatly appreciated

Default I'm glad it's light grey

I'm actually relieved that it is as light as it is. I was reluctant to order it because it looked TOO DARK at the Reveal. I saw the first photos of a Laguna Blue car with the grey 3LT, and confirmed my order.

I think there are going to be some people who never before knew or learned how to properly set their side rear view mirrors that are going to need to learn how to do so.

I agree on the dash and the button.

And that's what counts. Get what you want.

Thanks for posting. I do like the gray interior but not that standard dash. Reminds me of the 2005-2007 gray plastic dash; not horrible but the CF look is much better looking (to me).

It would be nice if you would stop loading the false assertion about the steering wheel into so many of your posts. It's annoying, and I haven't seen any quotes from any GM employee to validate your remarks.

Frankly I'm having a difficult time seeing any kind of "fish" in the steering wheel. I think your mind is playing tricks on you.

Well, I don't see it as being that different from other modern steering wheels but it does sorta look like a sting ray, I guess, if you cross your eyes just right.

Actually, I think it just looks like the ATS steering wheel...
