Who will be the first on this forum to have 2014 C7 sitting in his driveway?

Proof of this will, of course, require photos of the proud owner standing in front of his C7 in his driveway holding a copy of that day's local newspaper with the headlines and date clearly visible.

Umm... But if the owner is the one taking the picture they won't be able to stand in front of the car so perhaps for those cases we should allow for a simple thumbs up to be visible in the frame with the arm extending in such a manner that it makes it clear that said arm thumb belongs to the photographer, In such cases the paper could be placed somewhere on or within the car provided it is visible within the photo and a second photo showing a close up of the paper is also provided.

Actually, his flagship Chevy dealership is not on the forum. It is City Chevrolet in Charlotte and that is where his order was entered. Interestingly, it was entered into the GM Workbench just like yours or mine and has gone through the same steps of acceptance and order codes.

No, I was just thinking that in someone's race to be the first they might drive home in the middle of the day when everyone else is still at work and they might not want to wait to post photos. Not to mention (no offense intended) it seems kind of douchey to call up a friend or yell over the fence to your neighbor and say "hey man, come over and take some pictures of my expensive new car for me". It's one thing if you happen to have someone around already at that moment, but it's another if you don't. JMHO.

My guess is that the first person on here to receive their C7 doesn't like matte carbon fiber interior trim or competition seats

I won't be getting mine for a while now. I told myself it will be a graduation present. Graduation isn't until September 2014.
I will order it then.
So until that day comes, I can just live vicariously through you guys!

Whoever it is, it can't come soon enough. Whoever's first, they'll soon be followed by many others, and the collective result will quickly and permanently transform C7 General Discussion.

You have been a member since 2004 and graduation will be 10 years later. Just curious were you a kid when you joined here ?

Scraping the splitter.
I'm wondering if it will be a first or second allocation buyer who actually has his or her car first.
From what I understand, all of the early cars will be held for QC. Cars produced after these cars may ship first as I understand.
