Just curious.
If you had to buy a sports type of car. This car could not be a corvette. It had to be used. It also had to be under $30k. What would you buy?

Porsche, of course. I was talking to a Viper owner the other day, with a newer model , and he said it was basically a NASCAR car with a street body. Simple is good.
Sucking gas is bad.
Perhaps a TRiumph TR250.

2005 GTO LS2, can't go wrong and you can get one under $20,000.

I would go with a 70 Mach One Mustang or 69 Camaro SS (if I could find either under 30K)

I read that as "sports car" meaning a two seater, preferably a convertible, in which case an XKE or TR8. Not much of a Porsche fan, although I know they're excellent cars.

Just a little more room than a Camaro or Mustang.
