On order: Torch Red Z51
Default Carbon Fiber Dash

Given that situation, I wonder if it could be supplied at a later date to the customer for the same price and glued in. Would simplify a lot of things. Or maybe move my order up if I gave it up .

The way things are going I may be getting a 2015 model by the time my order goes though.

This is not an overlay. It replaces the existing pieces.

Oh well. My dealer just called me to say my number is up. I had to cancel FAY. Not that big of a deal for me. And, I save $995.

One of the many miseries of ordering a first year car. Let the "fun" begin!

good way for some to move their orders up. (drop the CF).
Question though. If the order is at 3000 status does that affect it or is this only new orders 2000 status codes.

thanks

Better than constrain it than build a bunch of bad cars that need to be fixed later on.

My personal opinion is at $1000 aftermarket will offer a higher quality piece. I'm not a fan of the big carbon fiber pattern.

C6 had ordering constraints of all kinds for years into production (the type of wheel was one I remember well), can you drop the blinders for once and give it a rest?

They called me as I was driving home from lunch. I was told my order was up and FAY would be on constraint. So, I told them to remove FAY. When I got home, I noticed your post which confirmed what my dealer said. I believe many on the Forum appreciate your input.

now keep in mind;

this is a two week cycle and many of the items i did not get this week , we will next

…only a few am i asking the flexibility to change up so we can process your order.

Another thought too, these dash pieces most likely will be available via aftermarket soon enough!

LOOKS LIKE WE WILL HAVE MORE ALLOCATION AVAILABLE - ALL I HAVE DONE IS HELP OTHER DEALERS WITH THEIR ORDERS.....We have have such a huge list today, it is important and fair I contact those wiating

So if we are sitting at 3300 or 3000 (as I am), that probably means we are screwed , and have to wait because in theory we can longer change our order
