Kalahari interior
Which exterior colors would be the best with the Kalahari interior?
Also would you add the suede to it?
How much of a difference would these color combo's make on the Vert?

I've only seen one C7 with Kalahari interior and it was a Cyber Gray. I didn't think it looked appropriate. I think it would look better with a more neutral color exterior - black or white...
As for the other questions you have...I can't help you.

IMHO Kalahari looks good in almost every color. If you see exotic cars at various cars shows - Ferrari, Maserati etc, they frequently have their interiors in this color with exterior reds, blacks, whites etc and they all look awesome. Once again thats just my opinion- beauty is in the eye of the ......... you know.

I think the Kalahari is a very rich looking color and will look good in a lot of colors but specifically, TR and CRM. But, I think that is true in the coupe only. On the coupes, the exterior color wraps the entire interior color, so the interior color becomes more of an complimentary color to the exterior. With the caramel-ish (orange tint) tone to the Kalahari, I am not sure how well the Kalahari convertible top will go with a lot of the exterior colors that we typically are used to seeing with a lighter tan color.

If you like earth tone interior colors, you'll probably like Kalahari with just about any C7 exterior color. On the other hand, if you don't like earth tones, no exterior color is going to make you like Kalahari.

I guess we'll know when GM gets the build your own up and running. If as in the past, it will only allow certain exterior/interior color matches. Unless one pays the fee for over ride.

I think alot of it depends on whether you go 2LT or 3LT. I'm going 2LT Kalahari and will have more black inside. With that said, I'll be getting the Crystal Red.
The Kalahari suede inserts seem to match the leather color very well. I had to download a couple of hi-res images to figure out the difference. Notice the full leather is perforated on the entire seat bottom. The suede seat insert doesn't cover the entire bottom section.

Than k you very much for everyone's input.
My biggest dilemma is that Kalahari looks good with many if not all the exterior colors.
If I get the vert, top color then becomes another choice. Maybe Laguna Blue, black top Kalahari interior. Or, CRM, Kalahari top and interior. Or black top. Not sure how 3 color combos's on vert will work. I think it would give it 2 distinct personality's, top up or down!

Short answer...no, kalahari is a new color...but...
There are plenty of precedents for the yellow over tan color combo out there and I personally think they are awesome. This is the color combo I chose, a) because I like it...a lot, and b) you won't see it very often and once these cars become commonplace on the street, that will matter to me.
My point is that the color combo and its desirability should really only matter to you and you only. If it's what you want...get it that way. The ONLY proviso is resale. If you are trading with a dealer, color combos won't matter too much (as long as Chevy will build it that way without the "deviation" charge) at all. If you are private selling, it will probably matter more, the only case in which case your question has validity, IMHO.
Some examples:
Corvette:
Viper:
Ferrari (my favorites):

Good detective work Rad22
I was originally going with Jet Black in the Cyber Gray, but it all blended in too much. Wasn't a fan of the Gray Interior. Dave at Kerbeck told me he saw the Kalahari on CG and it was stunning. For me, it will break up the car, keep it sporty yet classy (I hope!). If not, I will dye it. Ha.
