Default Boost leak?

Hey,

How do you determine if you have a boost leak? and how do you locate it?

This is what i did. It's caveman but it worked. If you have s/c'er i duct taped the inlet to the blower real good; took the brake booster line with an air hose( i extended the booster line about 4 to 5 feet so i can lay on my back under the engine to hear if there's any leaks) and applied air and i could not believe how many leaks i had. I though i tighten down clamps, you have to crank the sh#t out of them. I had a air nozzle with the rubber tip. It worked good when your by yourself. Turbos are differnent.
Why do you think you have a boost leak????????

I'm at high elevation. I had the car tuned in Phoenix and had around
9LBS of boost. When I returned to elevation I could have sworn I was getting around 6-7 LBS. Of course I can't remember 100%, but know I am only seeing 5LBS. I noticed because it didn't seem quite as fast.

Any thoughts?

I guess I will tighten the tensioner to be sure. I don't hear any noise. How would you know?
