My roommate also has a C5 corvette, I went with the LG long tubes, and he went with the ones you mentioned..
His fit perfectly, tucked completely underneath, look amazing, the welds are gorgeous..

I was very impressed to say the least.

I'm after a set too. I hear good things and they're within budget. Mine are down the road a bit. If I come across a set I'll pm you the info.

I got tired of waiting and went with texas speed. Installed with no cutting and came with all the supplies I needed......for UNDER $600... Sounds like a monster!!

The thought crossed my mind to go with Texas Speed. I really wish I heard more success stories like yours, I'd definitely buy theirs. Unfortunately the reviews aren't as good with regard to fit and finish. Given your input I may reconsider them....

It comes with cat delete mid pipes and clamps. They do have a x pipe though. Following ls1 how to install, they fit great. Didn't hit the tunnel plate. Forget that stupid air system too, engine looks way better without it. I gained 29 hp with headers and tune.

A good alternative is the LS7 manifold setup. It will make just about as much as headers on a little 346. Costs about $300-$400 for a used setup. You just need to adapt the 3" pipe to fit your 2.5" mufflers which is easy.

yea but how much modifying did you have to do in order to make them fit?
i heard all the brackets had to be changed/bent/moved and you couldnt use alot of stuff and had to cut the tunnel
