Take the money. You'll never get anywhere near that on a trade..I paid a little over 30 for a 2008 with 8000 miles last year...with headers and black wheels...just saying.

Nice car, and fair offer. Either way, keep it or sell it, you are good.

Are you looking to sell it?

If you're not wanting to get rid of it, why would you sell it? If you're intending to sell it, that seems like a very good offer, but if you're just worried about selling it for that later on, I wouldn't worry about it and just enjoy your car now.

The values may be going up. I've noticed ebay prices have gone up considerably since I bought my 06 vert last July. The local dealer here has offered me nearly 4K more than I paid for it if I trade it in and it's got just over 60K on it. 30K for a low mileage 07 with desirable mods may be a tad low.

I'd have to agree: if you're asking, you may as well sell. Prices won't be going up for an '07 even one as nice as yours; it's a good offer price for no-trade. May as well sell and start pricing/wait for a C7.

Will he buy it for the same price w/o trading. i.e. you just sell it to him outright? I doubt it. If he would I would sell it right there on the spot. You got to drive your car for a year AND sell it for $4K more, that's a no brainer.

Take the money and run! 30K is great money for an '07 Coupe...even better with the mods, which notoriously bring down the value.

If you truly cannot think of another car that would make you happy, then keep it, I'd ask the question first, do you think it will ever be worth more than the offer you have today? Will you be happy with it a year from now?

In my life, I've had few cars I wish I had kept. Years from now, do you see yourself feeling that way? Beautiful car by the way!

You answered your own question when you said :

I don't know what other car can make make me happy after my c6

Hang onto it , it's beautiful. Where could you get anything near that nice for 30k. A well equipped C7 coupe would be approx 70K and it's not a proven platform yet. If you decide to upgrade later you could probably get that much even from a dealer on a trade. My good friend just bought a 2013 gs convertible, this week, and they gave him 27k in trade for an 04 stock convertible, towards a heavily discounted 13 GS.

Good offer but what are you planning to do next if you do sell it.

I would keep since you probably changed it to the way you like it so you might as well keep it

Tough one. Also have an '07 coupe with about 30K. I wouldn't be buying the 1st year out C7 (or maybe even the 2nd). So what to do. Tough one. At any rate, nice C6 while you have it.

keep it, you know the 1st year of a new car is always a POS. just like the 05 was.

Niiice Vette ( personalized and can see why it would be hard to get rid of it.

I would consider how long before you plan to get another Vette if it's a C7.
And, the offer seems good, but, if your State has Sales Tax, without a Trade, how much of that will be lost in Sales Tax.
IMO, if it were me, whether I was going to get the 1st year C7 or get one a year or 2 later, I'd enjoy what I have and Trade it in when the time comes.
Just My 2 Cents

If I had to sell it to make room for a C7, I would take the offer.
If that's not the case, keep it.
