Pulley swapping, need help with belt size?
I am swapping my crank pulley out, so i have to swap my blower pulley out to keep from over rotating.
Currently, the car has an 8 rib 3.125 blower, 8 rib 7.5 crank pulley setup.
I am swapping the crank to an 8 rib 8" IW pulley, and the blower will get an 8 rib 3.5 pulley.
I have the ECS bracketry, and a Paxton Novi2200SL head unit. The car is a 2005 LS2 Powered Vette.
Anyone else run the same setup and can get me a part number, or a length or some kind of help?
thanks in advance

Maybe this will help:

Basically see what Impeller speed was with your old setup, and new setup that should give you a good approximation of how big the belt needs to be.

There is no info there on a belt length.
I have already figured out my blower rotation, and know i can run a 3.4 to 3.5 pulley. But I have no clue as to what belt i need to run one of those pullies.
i also don't know if ECS belt configuration/length is different than others either.

With the 3.125/7.5 setup, i was seeing about 15psi, it may have been more, i ended up having a head gasket issue, where boost was getting into the cooling system

This was on stock cube ls2, stock 243's, and stock ls2 intake. Very restricting top end. Car did make 745 to the wheel though.
With my new heads, i expect to see less boost, but make more power.
