I think those numbers are propaganda as Seattle residents don't want more people moving there!! I was there 5 days last summer for a convention and we had the best weather ever!!

My wife is still pissed I didn't take her on that trip!! (Of course she would have sat in Starbucks for 5 days!)

I think the Carolina's are in our future though...

I haven't driven much either, but on the bright side we haven't had to use our lawn sprinklers.

I live in on the Suncoast (gulf coast) of Florida and although the winter is absolutely beautiful for driving convertibles, the summer weather is very unpredictable as storm clouds can literally pop up in a matter of minutes. There have been times I have been driving top down in brilliant sunshine when suddenly, I'm in the middle of a rainstorm.

I live in the same area and the weather is great. The only drawback to driving with my targa top off are those B24 like Pelicans who can laser guide a load from 50 feet above a moving target. Ask me how I know.

http://globalnews.ca/news/661068/alb...ds-from-homes/

Been raining for weeks, I've had the car out 3 times so far this year for about 3 hours worth of driving. Hopefully next weekend our long weekend I can get it out...

Believe me, I know! That is my biggest concern when driving my convertible. When I think of all the bombing attacks that have hit the roof of my daily driver, I am very aware of the risk I'm taking driving top down.

I parked my car on the outside of the St. Armands circle show and came back to a full load on my top and windshield. Neither cars on each side of me were hit. Talk about precision! Must have been a Mustang owner in a former life...

Do not tell anyone but the sun is out and the temp is supposed to be 77 today. We don't want any more Californians moving up.

How about you just drive the vette and enjoy it instead of worrying about a bit of rain. I'd rather drive my car in the rain and bitch about having to clean it after, than rant about not driving it. Just my .02, feel free to throw it back at me.

I hear ya on that but.. for me, it's just not enjoyable to drive in the wet stuff. Top stays up, you know your car is getting dirtier with every block, floor mat gets soaked and you have to drive like a Grandma. At that point I'd rather drive my dd.

My floor mats don't get soaked when I drive in the rain. I have a leak on the drivers side A pillar, but it's worst when parked out in the rain, water seems to blow away when I'm driving. Don't need to drive like a Grandma, just leave the traction control on and don't be ridiculous. Actually pretty fun!!
