Default It's come alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car has just turned over 8k miles and it seems like it's come "alive". It seems to shift smoother (its a manual), have more power, and just all around quicker. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it just finally getting broke in?

I'm not saying this is what happened to you but when I was about 9 years old a friend of mine had what we called a doodle bug ( a small scooter) with about a five HP motor on it that had a top speed of about 15MPH. One day I was riding it around the neighborhood and something happened and it "came alive". Top speed went to about 40MPH. Needless to say we were very excited. Upon further investigation we found a cotter pin had fallen out that was limiting the throttle. Then again maybe it did happen to you.

It was "broken in" long before now. Methinks your butt dyno isn't very accurate.

And you need to drive it more instead of looking at it in the garage.

Your engine has finally thawed out after the long Minnesota winter.

Have you or your s/o lost significant weight lately ? Also, now that it's quit snowing up there .......... (it has hasn't it ?) you're wearing fewer clothes so that reduces weight.

Actually, I haven't worked off my extra winter fat yet....

And yes, that snow pile in the front yard is almost gone.

This is nothing, you should have been around for one of my first threads asking why there was no warning light for leaving your roof hatch unlatched....my @$$ is still sore from the flaming..

And no, I never left it unlatched..

Yes I know, must be more disciplined....more walks, less ice cream.

Wood fired pizza on the Big Green Egg doesn't help either, tonight's menu
