Nervous I won't enjoy my charged C6!!
I am picking up my 08 LS3 C6 today after nearly 3 months of being down with mods going in! Set back after set back, costly repair after costly repair, led me to buy a 2013 BMW S1000RR. Even with the new bike 9000 rpm rev limiter it is still a beast! I am worried that my vette won't have bring me the pleasure it did before I got the bike or the excitement I am expecting. I know it will still be a ton of fun and maybe even a killer sleeper (as much of a sleeper as a vette could be I guess), but will I be disappointed? Has anyone had these issues before?
Mods when I pick it up today will be: A&A T Trim kit, LS9 cam, Kooks headers & x pipe, RST clutch, Aeromotive A1000 return fuel system... I feel like I am missing something but noting major.

No car is going to give you the excitement that a bike can, period. Drive a fast car 120 mph and it feels like you're only going 80. Ride a bike at 80 mph and it feels like you're going 120. But it's not all about speed. I sold my bike (R6) to help with the down payment of my vette. I'm very happy with that decision.

I had a GSXR 600 before I got my vette then after having my vette for about 6 months I sold the bike because it didn't feel faster than my vette. It didn't have that torquey pulling feel like the vette did. Anyway, I had no clue this BMW would feel this way! Now I'm just nervous I won't enjoy the car... Thanks for the input!

Biggest mistake I made was selling my CBR1000RR :-(. I'm sure that only a McClaren F1 or an Aventador would match it, but they're out of my league. Your car will be a joy to drive, but don't ever give up that SUPERBIKE OF THE YEAR!
FWIW! I'm looking at the Panigale or S1000RR now as an alternative to my cage ride.

Well, I'm about 2 hours from picking up my car so I'll let you know! I don't think I'll ever get rid of my BMW though. Gorgeous and FAST! It gets a lot of looks and compliments at work.

I wouldn't worry about it. If you get the car back and it's not what you want? Sell it.

I can't compare the bike side of it but I sold my ZR1 for a new Grand Sport and put a A&A kit on it. I was worried that the feel would not be the same but in the end I am happier with the GS, just as fast. I do not track my cars so the ZR was a little overkill but it is a amzing car.

how did i know you would say that, because that's what what all the bikes thought, i have ran 10.16 NA on a green track leaving soft, i know the car has a 9.8s in it, now add the very nice nitrous system i built with its own fuel cell and pump with C16 that can be run with the 93 octane street race tune and nitrous all the same tune that is armed, add that to the 9.8s and most bikes cant run those times off the track and the ones that can the riders cant without the big burnout and once i launch, that's with low 1.3 60 fts, the bike can screw up from shock

And running LOW 9s @ 145-150, bone stock.
So what's your trap look like compared to that?
