Kerbeck not taking orders yet
If Kerbeck is not taking orders, and they are the biggest Corvette dealer, then what is going on? I keep reading that some have placed an "order" with their dealers. Then I read some have seen the order on a GM list.
I am not sure what the process is, but I do know that Kerbeck will get some of the first cars.
I am sitting on my order until I am told to submit it by my dealer. I have no doubt that my car will be very early in the process.
Any thoughts?

I have an order number and I can look it up on the Chevy Order Status site. Wes Milby, Reliable Chevrolet, MO.

PLEASE NOTE - KERBECK IS NOT YET TAKING ORDERS FOR THE 2014 CORVETTE STINGRAY.
THE C7 IS NOT EXPECTED TO HIT DEALERS' LOTS TILL SOME TIME IN THE THIRD QUARTER.
ORDER INFORMATION WILL BE ON THIS PAGE WHEN IT BECOMES AVAILABLE.

you can get order numbers but its not submitted officially until chevy gives them the go ahead. Order number right now means nothing, I do have a order number also though.

Sources here say the first 2014 Corvette consensus will be May 23rd but my guy says it looks like it'll be May 30th. I wonder who's right?

I would also add to it for people to say what "number" in line they are. In another thread someone indicated they were told there were already 30,000 preorders which must be in fantasy land.

Hi guys!
Yes it's true that we did not start taking deposits yet mostly because they would have just been sitting for weeks and weeks.
We are going to start taking deposits shortly and we will be selling the cars at MSRP and not over as some of our competitors like to say.
The first consensus is this Thursday. This is not when orders get picked up, this just tells dealers how many cars they will get during that specific order period.
Thursday May 30th will be the first time dealer can actually prioritze there orders and get them picked up by GM. The orders will have to be on the order bank by Saturday and the orders must match any and all constraints. On Tuesday June 4th, dealers will be allowed to make changes to the orders that got picked up as long as the changes still fall within the constraints.
If your order actually gets picked up by GM during that first week, you won't see any changes to your order status until Wednesday June 5th. If your order is still at 1100 on 06/05/13 then you order did not get picked up for the first week.
Like we've been saying, we will let everyone know when we start taking orders via our newsletter first then on our website, Facebook, Twitter and here on the Forum.
Of course, as always, feel free to call or email me directly!
