Default FS: 2012 Grand Sport Supersonic Blue 850 Miles

2012 Supersonic Blue/Ebony Grand Sport 1LT automatic with Paddle Shifters, Competition Gray wheels, NPP exhaust and Clear Bra protection. I decided that I would rather have a manual transmission so I am letting it go. It still has some of the plastic on the carpets from delivery. The price is now cut to $43800 - this is the lowest I can go.

[Southern NH]

Sold...thanks to all for your help and advice.

Well I received some feedback (thank you) that my price is too high relative to what the forum dealers are selling thier 2013's for. When I set the price I considered the color and wheel upgrades (I don't see too many new Supersonic Blue GS's out there), plus the A6, the NPP exhaust, the low miles and the Clear Bra - but it looks like it's not a good price in the current market. Any suggestions and comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I think that is a good price. How much clear bra is on the car? (Describe which parts got covered) You could have $300 worth or $1300 worth (or even more), so I would detail which surfaces were covered.

I just paid slightly more last week for one with 14.4K miles. At first glance that makes yours a steal or means I overpaid. However, it's a 2LT, has chrome wheels ($1995 option) and F55 ($1695 option) as well as NPP, Blue tooth, Navigation (I know, I use my phone instead), nice window tint applied by original owner, and the kicker... Carlisle Blue - very rare color.

It sounds like yours has a lot more option wise - especially the 2LT package, F55 and the chrome wheels (do you have any pictures?). The Clear Bra covers the nose and almost half way up the hood and fenders, plus the mirrors.

Yeah. That's what I was trying to say, mine has a lot more miles, but has a lot more $ options/higher original sticker price.

Don't want to bogart your for sale thread by posting pictures here, so here's the link to the GS pictures thread where I have some: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...thread-28.html

I still wonder why anybody would want a auto trans in a vette, or any sports car. Thats half the fun of owning the dam thing.

For the beating your going to take, you mind as well price out a tr 60-60 trans and do a swap. GLWS

Thank you - I noticed that Tommy had a similar car - color, wheels, NPP - but with the manual tranny a few months before I got there. That's what I should have bought

As to why anyone would want a auto corvette, I had major back surgery and could not shift gears very well so I now have an auto corvette C6, knee replacement or hip also might hinder shifting gears. GLWS

Auto trans vettes have for many years and still do today far outsell manual trans ones by a large margin.

I have owned 25 vettes and the last one I bought with a manual trans was a brand new 1968 convert in the fall of 1967. When I bought the last C6 convert I drove a manual trans one just to see if there was something I was missing and after 15 minutes behind the wheel couldn't wait to get out of it.

I just bought a new 2013 1LT GS with auto & NPP for a tad over $47k. It's black on black. I noticed a price drop of $500 more than what I bought mine for. So a new 1LT GS with auto & NPP can be had in the mid $46k range with owner loyalty. Price yours lower than that. Good luck

CarMax is a great place to sell a vette too if it is low mileage, stock and not modded.

I know two guys that sold their's to them after trying for 2-3 months on their own and CarMax offered them more than any offer they had received.

half the fun of owning it is buying what ever transmission or any other option or color that you want.

Default Mecum info net

I saw a 2012 red GS get bid up to 46k at Mecums indy auction last weekend. Not sure tho which equipment it had. You can go to Mecums web site and sign up for free....and see the sales history at each auction.
Might be of some help.....interesting read nonetheless.
