I was actually thinking along the lines of the stainless steel flames more than louvers. I saw SS crossed flags on a vette while at the Indy 500 once but have never seen them since.
Anyone have pics of the stainless steel taillight covers.... Not sure what they are officially called. Excuse my ignorance!

Saw them on a C6 Grand Sport last weekend at a car show, cheesiest crap I ever saw.
