Depends on the dyno, but ya that seems to be the main range. Most other dynos around usually get 450ish

OP, when posting dyno figures it is best to state the brand of dyno as well as the correction factor used. Otherwise comparisons won't mean much.

DynoJets seem to give the highest numbers.

Does 403torque seem low?

No.

Keep in mind that the dyno does not measure horsepower; it measures (or calculates) torque then calculates horsepower from that measurement (calculation). HP = TQ * RPM / 5252

403 torque might be just a smidgen low for a Dynojet, but the OP doesn't know what kind of dyno was used. For a properly set up load cell dyno (like a Mustang or a DynoMite) the numbers he got would probably be in line with 440-450 HP on a Dynojet (inertia dyno). Based on ballpark numbers and various comments from various operators and such.

Or if the run was made on a Dynojet the IAT could have been a tad high or some timing might have been pulled up top if the cats were running hot. I think coolant temp might play into the mix as well. 93 octane in the car, or 91? All kind of variables, so pretty much impossible to make any judgement without a lot more info and a data log. Given all that, it looks like a good number to me -- I'd be happy with it

My '09 stock with just a ZR1 air filter element was 469.38rwhp and 437.9 torque (corrected) on a Dynojet Research dyno (at Extreme Motorsports), but they know the numbers using SAE5 smoothing are generally 455 to 475 for LS7 stock on their dyno, so mine is good but now as great as it may seem compared with some other dyno's.

Ah! That means it is a load cell dyno, which probably means it reads a little lower than the Dynojets (inertial dynos) that everybody loves because they usually give higher numbers

I'd say that your numbers on a DYNOmite are pretty good and well within what other Z06's would do on the same dyno.

On the lower left corner of your sheet it probably says "Correction factor: SAE".

My bone stock '09 Z06 with 49K miles on the original air filter pulled 400 TQ on a DYNOmite. HP curve was a little flattened out on top at 424 HP, looked like the PCM pulled a little timing due to cat temp (or so the operator said) (2nd pull). So, you and I are right in the same ballpark on that type of dyno.

11.5 AFR on my pull, according to the tailpipe sniffer.
.

My 2007 with 4500 miles on it put down 456 on a Dynojet.

I thought it was high but I will take it.

It was bone stock, no mods at all. Then I did a cai/KN with a tune ant it went to 487.

Whooo! Yes it does say *Correction Method: SAE in the bottom left hand corner. I guess I'm right in line with other Z06's I've been trying to post the pic of my dyno sheet but can't figure it out. Thanks again Mark!
