Default Lifting a C7............

I don't know if this has been talked about yet, but I wonder if the C7 will suffer the same fate at the dealers as the C6....cracked rockers. Does anyone know if jacking pucks will be needed on the C7?

Hey Randy,

They will lift similar to the C6/Z06 and yes, if not done properly will suffer the same fate as the C6.

Do you think the jacking pucks I currently have on my C6 will work with the C7?

Thanks, Paul

So it's just a matter of time before we get the first "dealer cracked my rockers" thread in the C7 section...

You can't use pucks that say "C5" on them on a C7 even if they do fit!

The ones that I have actually have "C6" on them, so they'll only be one generation off.

I would imagine the C7 will be harder to lift from the back. On the C5s I put a piece of wood across the cradle beams in the back and lift from the wood. But I suspect that the C7 is going to be completely different back there.

I'm just glad I won't be doing any work on it for a few years.
