Is there a website where you can find out the corvette build number using the vin number? I'm looking to buy one but it might have that harmonic balancer wobble, I was reading that only certain 06's are affected by that issue.

05 mostly. build number is last 5 digits of vin.

For example, if the last six digits are 121458, then this is the 21,458th one that year. The last six start at 100001.
