Booo!

The c5 is a better looking car. I say make make a modification of some type, to commemorate paying it off.

Drop your comp and collision, and take the money from that and whatever the note was....and spend that for a year or two on mods.

Do what I did and throw a supercharger on it.

Then build a motor.

Hahaha! Both are great ideas but I figure torque is like an addiction: no matter how much you need now, at some point you're going to need more. I'm still enjoying my stock 350 ft-lbs right now so I want to milk it as long as I can.

My thoughts exactly.

I saved a lot of cash and had a nice trade-in so I only needed to borrow about 30% of the car's total cost. I did my budget and realized that if I tightened my belt and cut some discretionary spending and used my entire tax refund, I could have it paid in six months. So I made myself a deal that I would make no major mods until the car was paid. I bought my car on 10/17/12 and paid 4/23/13. So if I go a little crazy now, I think it's well-earned.

I decided to take your advice and start buying parts for a much needed stereo-upgrade. I'm so sick of my tape deck, LOL!! I bought a Humount (red logo above, no contour line). I also ordered the Bose stereo adapter harness (damn, you Bose). Haven't decided yet on a stereo but leaning towards this JVC KD-AVX77.

Oh, I'm still in deep for student loans, no worries there, hahaha. But at least I don't owe anything to anyone else.
