I bought a used C6 Z06 set for $1000 last fall. I got the entire kit...calipers, rotors, pads, and lines. I refurbished them to look like this:

Check the C6 Parts For Sale section often....

If you're going to do serious track days, you might want to search through the threads on the Autocrossing and Road Racing part of the forum. One of the favorites is the AP Racing/Hardbar T1 kit. It's on my "some day" list.

Right now I'm just planning on upgrading brake pads and adding cooling ducts like these:

Good luck with the cooling ducts on a C-5. It was torture trying
to make the system work. Finally ended up using 2 electric blowers
hidden behind the front bumper. All is well and I can turn them on and off from a switch. Good luck on your cooling project.

how many of you are runnin 19inch rims up front and 18 in the rear to clear the big brakes.

isnt there a problem with this set up, as far as the car recognizing wheel
/tire height?

Running 18/19 to clear my z06/GS brakes.

Car has no idea what size your rims are. You just need to make sure your tires are the right size for your rim to give the wheel stock diameter. Or you can change the wheel diameter in the pcm if you have an appropriate tuner.

On the brembo you have to run 19,s up front on the bigger rotors and brakes from brembo. I have 19,s in fron and 18 in rears. Plus my 19,s from CCW SP 500 not much room at all still. Hope this helps you. Plus you have to make sure your rims are for a big brake kit also. Robert

I went the C6 Z06 way so that replacements for anything are OEM, and should be around a lot longer than some aftermarket companies. (also, I got an employee discount..)

Eventually, I swap these StopTech Sport Stops for Coleman 2-piece though...

Not all 18s will clear the calipers! I was running spyder knockoffs (18x9.5s up front) and they were way off for clearance...had to buy new wheels to complete the mod.
