Default Help me out here. Side vents too much?

I like them on other peoples cars. But I don't think I like them on mine. I sanded them smooth, and painted them gloss black like the wheels and halo.

Thoughts?

Are they stick on or functional?

These are stick ons. I wanted to make sure I liked them especially sanded smooth and gloss before I cut into the rockers.

Since you asked I agree with your thoughts it would look better without. Just a thought maybe paint them white to match body!? Just my .02 cents, Rob

I'm partial to them; I like them on some cars and on others I don't.

I don't like them on Z06s, never mind on a coupe.

I hate them.......but it's your car.

If you have to ask others if they look good, I think your question has already been answered.

^^^ I think you're probably right. Although, I have seen some coupes that I liked them on. I'm just not feeling them here. It's too busy.

One of the worst afterthoughts ever designed. GM got it right on the C7, of course, because it was part of the new design. But, even on the C5 Z06 they just interrupt the lines of the car.

If you were running skirts I think it could definitely pull them off, especially in white; but with that setup it looks more sleek and clean without them

I actually like them on a C5 Z06, gives it a nice look IMO. On a coupe they look out of place. Just my .02€

I agree. Most of the vents I see are Black and often don't blend into the car. I think White would look aggressive, but not overly pronounced.

I like the looks of them on the coupe/vert. I had them on my '00 coupe.

One word of caution though - I would not paint them - they tend to get a lot of rock chips and if painted they will be looking really bad after a short period of time. Even the factory black ones get to looking rough after a while.

I will say this, they do match your blacked out halo.
