I hope this is not the case and that GM actually spent some time resolving this pretty embarrassing issue, especially in light of world class interior revamp.

Probably difficult to design some type of hard cover given the need for space to store the roof.

I'm guessing this will likely be something else for you to bit@h about! Nothing like a bit more cheese to go with your "wine"!
I've never been embarressd about my cargo cover. I actually like the cargo cover. I've had those ones that retract and roll up and I honestly prefer the C6 one over the other options. The only thing it needs is something to weight the front down at the floor or an additional attachment point so it doesn't flap with the windows down.
Hey, I meant to ask...my 15 yr old daughter wants a Mini convertible as the ultimate cute-mobile. Would you suggest she get that or the VW Bug that beat the Mini in the latest C&D comparo?

So no info on this subject? You do rock a Mini, right?

I bought my daughter the newer VW Bug because I thought that they were a safe car - they might be, but they are really a costly maintenance nightmare!
The Mini has the same issues. One of the guys I used to fly with had one - told me that it was fun, but costly maintenance, after all BMW makes it - to much electronic BS you don't need.
TRY - and talk her into some else - good luck
Give her your Corvette and buy a C7 - yea that'll happen.

Not a chance in hell...she can't drive a stick and I have really tried to teach her.

10 yr old thinks the Vioer is a shoe and 15 yr old wants a Mini?
How many kids you got?

When she was 10, she thought the Viper looked like a clownshoe. Now, she wants a Mini or (if I can convince her) a Bug.
Honestly, she will likely end up with an ancient Camry.

Just don't let her do any praying mantis mods to the rear of it.
