How to test 74 vette wiper motor
Hi Ya'll,
Have a 74 vette wiper motor out of the car and on the workbench. I put 12 volts to the blue and then yellow lead terminals and negative to the black terminal. Thought this would turn the arm or at least something but nothing....Also, there is a plastic connector on top of wiper that looks like three hoses attach to.....not sure how that works and not sure if I need this in order to test wiper motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, is there any good service manuals on this year model, with picture breakdowns that you would recommend? And, what is AIM?
Thanks, Dave T.

Melting Slicks
Wilcox has testing instructions on his site. I used them and they were great. The one thing I do remember is that the negative (ground) is actually connected to the body of the wiper motor.
