when I bought the car it was going to be my track day car.after owning it for alittle over 3 years I have done 4 track days and put 10,000 miles on it.i just don't have the time for track days so i'm going to sell it.
the car has 109,xxx miles and runs great.for a 99 it's in great condition.most people don't believe its that old.
car has:
ported'polished 241 heads with larger valves and comp 921 spring.they flow over 300cfm@.550
texas speed 224 114lsa cam
ls6 intake
tpis LT headers w/high flow cats and x-pipe ti exhaust
30 lb injectors
callaway honker intake
underdrive pulley
tuned by Mark Romans
poly a-arm bushings
2008 z06 shocks
front brake duct cooler
new tie rod ends
amsoil fluid everywhere
corbeau seats
harness bar with two sets of 5 point camlock harness
have new ls7 clutch with remote bleeder, slave, throughout bearing, pilot bearing(has not yet been istalled.
the only bad points of the car is the clutch will need to be changed soon and you have to hold it in reverse while you back up.all forward gears work perfect.
$12,500 no trades
car is in sacramento,ca.

i want the car bad, just dont wanna deal with tearing transaxle apart to change syncros for reverse.... although that does give a good opportunity for clutch swap.. hmmm.. love the car.

imo you would have an easier time getting 13.5, maybe 14 if you put in a new clutch and either a junkyard transmission or replace the synchro
it's not that this is a bad buy or anything, it's just that so many buyers want a car they can turn key drive, OR, they want a steep discount.
still it's one of the more attractive c5 deals as of recent {even making me think since you're within driving distance} . you ever run the car? looks like an easy low 12 setup on street tires

FYI you only need to flip the reverse synchro. No need to find a new transmission or get a synchro. T-56's OWN!
12.5?????? Jesus christ....SOMEONE BUY THIS CAR NOW

I flew from Pittsburgh, Pa to san diego for a 180k mile 1992 6spd c4, then drove it home. I had 5600.00 total invested when I got home. Drove it for a yr and tracked it...sold it for 6500.00. If you want a deal, you do whats necessary
