Default Bra no Bra

Thinking of getting the stretchy black bra for my Torch Red C6. Probably just for long freeway trips, but maybe more use. Would love feedback on pros-cons. Is it hard to install?

I'd rather have potential rock chips before one of those things!

They work well on non Z cars. I have friends with them. Just don't leave it on all the time--too ugly! Should protect against interstate sand, grit and bugs.

After having to repaint the front of a '98 I had after 40k I always run a bra on long trips and during construction periods on local roads.

I once read on the Forum that putting a bra on a Corvette is like putting a bra on Pamela Sue Anderson.

A Bra for trips seems like a good idea....you can take it off when you get home. I don't like clear bras....I can always see them. Scratches build character!

I use mine for roadtrips only, for the purpose of keeping bugs and such out of the grill and radiator. Works great for that purpose and has no effect whatsoever on the car's cooling capability, even in the desert. Easy to install.

First thing I bought when I got the 427. Couldn't get white, so got silver. It definitely takes 2 people to put on though............unless you don't mind scratches in the paint from the thing flying off out of your hands when your stretching it. But I only use it for trips. And be sure to take it off. Don't keep it on the car.

I've seen too many scratches if dirt gets between the bra and car...esp in the rain when dirt get down there. Long trips....... I use saran wrap. It looks like crap but I get there pull it off and put a new piece on in coming home.

Depends on how you do it. I snap top snap on one side, then top snap on other side before velcroing top edge under hood. Then snap bottom snap on one side, put bottom edge under nose of front and snap bottom snap on other side. With top and bottom snaps now snapped on both sides the middle two on each side can easily be snapped. Gets easier (stretched out a little) after a couple of uses. Obviously car is clean and dustless before installing each time. No scratches for me.
