**UPDATE-I received 149 C7 allocations for the first 6+ mos.-104 Cpes and 45 Convt's...As many of you know I sell Corvette's and have done so for 35 years. Criswell Chevrolet will have the allocation for the NEW 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Criswell is the 3rd largest Corvette dealer in the Country and the bulk of the allocations will go to the top selling Corvette dealers. Please don't leave your deposit with a Corvette dealer that states "Allocation will be no problem", chances are they will not get nearly as much allocation. There are 3,000 Chevrolet dealerships in the Country so why should you order from me?...I can drop ship, enclose trailer, Corvette Museum Delivery or you can take delivery the old fashioned way-at Criswell Chevrolet. I will not mark up from MSRP and plenty of dealers will. Call 301 212 4420 which is my desk direct phone line...I have over 2,700 Corvette customers in my book of business after 35 years of selling Corvette's. I am a Corvette enthusiast selling Corvette's and I make it FUN and seamless as it should be.
Best Regards,

Nope...but there are many other benefits that a Corvette enthusiast selling Corvettes for 35 yrs can do. Just ask any one of my 2,500+ Corvette customers.

I left Mike a message and followed it up with an email. No response. Is that customer service? I will answer that..........no.
Many other dealers in the north east will have sufficient supply and also no markup from msrp. So, my money will goto them when I get my C7.
Lost sale. Every sale counts in this continued sluggish economy.

Hi Mike, What do you estimate the cost of a 2014 with 2LT, Z51, glass roof, body color roof, dual mode exhaust, and magnetic ride control? We were on the phone yesterday and you couldnt chat cause you were delivering a 427. This is John with the Vette and Shelby from NJ. Also, might be interesdted in a 2013 427 if the price is close to a c7.

Yes, you were responsive in prior emails and calls. But, I got no response from my most recent email of Jan. 30. And that is what left me sour.
For whatever reason, I did not receive a response. Water under the bridge. Appreciated the call back, though.

Mike Furman has been a Corvette specific sales specialist for 35 years. He has been a top Corvette salesman in the USA to the point where Chevrolet sent him to the 24 hours of Le Mans more than once. He is an Ambassador for the NCM and is continually in contact with the Bowling Green Plant Manager.... where, by the way, two of Mike's donated original signed John Fitch/Cory Correll prints hang. The guy has responded to EVERY email and EVERY phone call we have sent him over our last 8 months of communications.... no matter the day or time. He is the ONLY dealer that we are aware of that provides the actual build sheets AND final off the line build date tag for all of his Corvette customers. He documents EVERYTHING for his customers... from the initial sale through the final delivery. Every response on CF and Corvette Blogger.... and there have been literally hundreds of them, have had nothing but overwhelming praise for Mike and his professionalism. This all speaks volumnes for Mike Furman at Criswell.
So, more to your point... or lack thereof......why did you just happen to omit the fact that Mike provided you with 24 responses to your phone calls and emails?????
In all fairness to Mike, what you should have stated was that you and Mike have been in constant contact since September through 24 responses.... and one of your inquiries might have fallen through the cracks. Instead, you chose to kick Mike out of the sales process altogether over a couple of perceived non-communications. It appears that you are the only CF poster that has EVER, EVER... had an issue with Mike Furman. We would put that in the catagory of..... "consider the source".
You had better move on and grind somewhere else... Mike has hundreds of Corvette owners and future customers to attend to, and thankfully for Mike you will not be one of them.
Regarding your comment about many other dealers in the NE not charging over MSRP.... you can include Criswell Chevrolet in that statement as well, as they too do not charge over MSRP on their 2014 C7 allocations. Many of Mike's threads and posts in the last few months have stated this unequivocally.

V-Dub:
"Value", thankfully, is in the eye of the beholder. Criswell and Mike Furman did not get to be the third largest Corvette dealer nationally because they are the "high priced spread". We would prefer to deal anyway with someone 35 years specializing in Corvette Sales, as well as getting all of the documentation that is born with your new Corvette that few other dealers even know exists, rather than deal with dealers who treat the Corvette sale just like they would a Suburban......a commodity.
It is your choice, and there are plenty of Corvette dealers out there that will be happy to tell you what you want to hear. Good luck with your purchase, and don't forget to wave!

Mike - I have a credit score of 349, lost my job so no real declarable income, and don't want to put anything down. Can you get me financed? I could probably only do a 7 year term. . .
As an aside, "Free nationwide" service is never "free".
Cheers,
