Default The Bottom Line

The Bottom Line, my friends, is that unless the C7 Corvette sells more than the current 10.000 "units" or so, per year............we Corvette enthusiasts are all screwed!

I hope they sell a pile, but if they don't, I don't really think the Corvette enthusiasts are all screwed.

There are tons of Vettes around, aftermarket industry, parts out the yingyang, and mechanics all over the place. Corvettes will be around til there aint any more cars.

10 units shouldn't be a problem.

That's pretty funny. The excitement for this new car far outweighs the last years sales of the previous model which was 11 thousand units, not ten. I eont understand the logic even of your statement? Was it just for effect?

I expect the C7 sales to be much better than the last year or so of C6 sales. Economy (in spite of our government) seems to be getting on more solid ground, new generation car excitement.

Don't think we're going to see 30K+ units annually for quite a while, if ever again. C5s, C6s are plentiful, fairly inexpensive, and still a lot of car by today's standards.

I just hope I can get the money saved up (I don't take loans out on cars) over the next 5 years or so for a C7, it looks to be an awesome car!

Have a good one,
Mike

I think one of the reasons C6 sales declined was due to speculation of this C7. This car has been hyped for years now.

If they didn't make it look so much like a Camaro it might have had a chance.

Go back and look at Corvette production numbers by year. if GM can make enough they will easily sell over 40k units. They will be at full production for at least 2 years and easily sell every one they make.

Mike, use the money you saved up for a C6 and add to it and you will be in the ball park.

How you doing ???
