Default [Body kit] Any pic of a C5 front on a C4?

I really like the front of the C5 but nothing else. Has anyone here put a C5 front bumper kit on their 91-96? How does it look? Pics?

C5 front with 96 rear might be cool. Or not.

you are going to have a 10K+ in paint and body work on a 5K car at best the math just does not add up

Yes, and its NOT pretty. I didnt understand these kits when the C5 first came out. Now that the C5 has come down in price so much, it makes even less sense.

Not the whole C-5 body kit, just the front bumper, which I find more attractive and an easy paint job.

I'm no body and paint guy but it seems like putting on a C5 front clip would be pretty expensive and a lot of work. You would lose the tilt hood and end up with a C5/C4 combo that would look kind of odd to say the least.

It's your car. If you like it and have the cash go for it. The prospect of it as an investment is a moot point if you have no intention of selling.

On a lighter note, I've taken to referring to the amount of money I've put into my car by the number of new Kia Sofias I could have bought brand new.

It's a 5 Kia Sofia Vette so far.

I'm glad I didn't have bourbon in my mouth when I read this post. It would have wound up coming out my nose and going all over my screen.

Do you have any idea how much bourbon burns coming out of your nose? DO YOU?

That almost happened. By This .l. much!

Beware!!! you can check a thread I have started showing progress on the subject. When I am done I will give the details about every hitch along the way and the associated costs. My car at its current state has a new engine, new weather stripping, and new paint with body kit. Next will be the interior, cluster, and back to the engine. I probably could have searched and found a low end C5 for what I will have in it, but when done my car will for all intense purposes, be a new car. These kit has a horrible fit.

I think the C5 Front Bumper Cover looks good on the C4!

In fact, I think the C5 body panels look better on the C4 than the C5!...
