Not till I know if that multiple displacement is a reliable system. Run on 4 cylinders for gas mileage then to 8 cylinders for accelertion?
or my current C-6 ends up with problems or I lose interest in it.

I realize this is the C6 forum and it is supposed to be used for C6 posting only, but I can see this kind of post. After all it could be post in each generation section just to try and get a feel for what people are thinking about doing later this year.
After all this is like what have be seeing about the C7. he is not saying what he likes or dislikes about the car, what it needs to make it better, what he plans to do once he gets it, it is just who is planning to buy one.

Maybe in time. I still love my C6 and it suffices nicely for what I do with the car. I don't especially need a new car but at some point soon I may simply want one. Ultimately, I'd like to see and drive a C7. I'd like to see if a Z06 model is in the pipeline. When the time comes, I'd also consider the Viper.

I don't see what the subject matter problem is....it seems to me the OP is posing a question specifically to C6 owners. Where better to find C6 owners than in the C6 section? I respect everyone's opinion and the right to express them but with a thread entitled "C7" it could have been easily avoidable.

Understood, but why can't the OP just look at the rest of the threads that already asked that same question? Should be able to glean enough information from previous posts to answer his own question.

Now back to our regularly scheduled discussion on "C"hannel 6...

Depends what the upsize engine would be, I wouldn't change it for the base or Z51. Especially not in the 1st year.

Now back to our regularly scheduled discussion on "C"hannel 6...[/QUOTE]

What are the best, cheapest, non run flat, run flat, widest, lowest, highest tire I can put on my GS, Z06, narrow body, convertible. Where can I find the best, cheapest Z51 badge, battery cover, outside storage cover, indoor storage cover, steering wheel, polish, zaino, rejex to put on my corvette....
My battery is dead, I'm locked out, I'm locked in, my top won't go down, my top won't go up.....I went for a ride, I didn't go for a ride, it's snowing, it's raining, the sun is out. Took pictures, didn't take pictures. Where do I jack up my vette, where do I get pucks, what are pucks, what is a jack....How do I change oil, when do I change oil, why do I change oil....do I have to change oil...what gas mileage do you get, I get more than you do....How old are you, how many gold chains do you have....do you have gold chains...how many vettes have you had...

I think the "C"hannel" 6 is full of RERUNS I think I'll channel surf for a while....
