New guy here....pics and 1/4 mile vid
Hey guys. My name is David. Newly registered, but I've been lurking. Here's the new ride, got her bone stock for a killer deal from a relative with only 25K miles...
09 1LT A6 C6 Corvette
Mods I've done so far:
LG G6X3 cam package
Circle D 3200 Converter
LG Super Pro long tubes with offroad x
NPP mufflers with exhaust commander
Tuned by Allan at Futral Motorsports
new mods coming soon are an underdrive pulley, ported throttle body and a new air intake (still on the stock one lol)
Car made 460/i think 400 (cant really remember)
Anyway, here are some pics when i first got it and we (Screamin Cobra and myself) did some paint correction...
See? Nothing a little TLC can't fix....and some compound...
And here is the final product
Yesterday was a beautiful 70 degree day in south Louisiana so we went to State Capitol Raceway for their first raceday of the year. First pass on drag radials ever in this car, I only stalled to about 2700 because I was worried about traction. Next time I will stall a bit higher.
Car went 10.911 at 126.20 with a 1.628 60'. Nice to be here!

Thank ya sir. Feels good to be out of the Cobra's and into the Vettes. Also nice to be in the 10s NA with only 3 real mods. Cam, Stall, and Full exhaust. I guess the tune is a "mod" also...
Still on the stock intake and filter too.

Thanks guys. Gonna finish up my bolt ons and try for a 10.70 with a stronger launch. I'm just glad the tracks are being more lenient with running 10s with no cage now. If I can get a 10.70 with just bolt ons, I may shoot for a 9 with some nitrous. Not sure if I want to go that far just yet.

Really nicely done! Well chosen mods, simple and gets the job done. I'm an ex mustang guy who recently bought my 08. Btw, if you are interested, I have a BNIB SIP (stic it performance) intake that I'll be willing to sell cheap. PM me if interested.

Thanks. I'm actually gonna go with a Vararam. I like the way they perform and are reasonably priced. But I do appreciate the offer and the comment.

Sounds good to me. Unfortunately I don't get many opportunities to just go out and drive, but I'd definitely like to. Hopefully my lowly stock coupe will fit in alright .

Ceramic coated 1 3/4....we decided since I was gonna stay NA that 1 7/8 was too big. Didn't wanna lose all that torque.
Shouldn't be an issue...we have some friends with modded mustangs that you are still faster than.
