It's time for those in the C7 section...
to re-evaluate why you are still here:
to stay (if you are thinking about getting one)?
or to leave (if you've already decided the C7 is not for you)?
Either you're a Corvette enthusiast here - or you are a troll.
When the C6 was officially introduced; those of us that didn't like it had our say; and then we backed-off. We're not here to save our bruised ego; but instead to help each Corvette owner enjoy the heck out of the version they own (or are going to buy).
Lets face it;
you would be in the C1/C2 section if you owned one, or was going to buy one.
you would be in the C3 section if you owned one, or was going to buy one.
you would be in the C4 section if you owned one, or was going to buy one.
you would be in the C5 section if you owned one, or was going to buy one.
you would be in the C6 section if you owned one, or was going to buy one.
Notice, you would't participate in any of the sections that were of Corvette series you weren't interested in.
So, now that it's all official, there's no need for those not liking the C7 to continue to post in this section. Corvette enthusiasts don't rain on other Corvette enthuisasts parades.

Having said that, if someone comes up with a fresh NEW observation that some might deem critical, I would like to hear it. Assuming, of course, the individual took some time with the search tool.
I will buy one, and looking for all information, positive or negative.

I have to side with Tim. The details are out and most have come to the conclusion at this point if you like it or dislike. Those that like it are here for the duration and to learn or discuss as much as they can.
Those that don't, really have to decide why they are still here. If the only reason is to tell people that you don't like it, sorry but those of us that do don't really care if you do or not and frankly, incessant complaining about a point or feature isn't going to change anything at this point with the design (insert C6 headlights) or whether or not the car proceeds and succeeds. When the time comes, vote with your wallet.
If you are still on the fence, stay, read, contribute and learn as much as you can about the car. If there is anything the rest of us can do to help you decide one way or the other I'm more than certain that we would be happy to do that, offer any information that we may have or share any photos that we have from the reveal or from auto showshow. I've been trying to answer every question I can and post every photo I can to illustrate a point or feature if someone has a question.
Obviously, this is a public forum but why would you want to stay on and just beat the point and the topic in to the ground, what point could it possibly serve. The horse is dead, please let it rest in peace.

I'm pretty sure there is a ton more information that is going to be put out for people to still wonder about.
Like... a photo of a BASE C7 would be nice. Not to mention base price, package prices, real HP numbers, tuning options, etc. etc. etc.
I'm also pretty sure that anyone can rightfully post wherever they choose to.
Thanks for trying to make everyone agree to YOUR time line and opinion.

I am staying. Love the C7 have not said one bad thing about it but the wheels suck lol but I was being honest. C7 is a definite improvement over the C6. Hell it will give the C6 Z06 a run for its money and prolly own it on the track.

Amen Mike!
I love all Vettes but I do have a least favorite. I don't go to their forum and continually say how bad I think it is. Fact is, it's probably a great car, just wouldn't be my pick.
I don't continually bash your car, please don't continually bash mine (or what will be mine).
About a year ago, I nearly bought a new C6, and decided to put it off until I saw this one. It's been like waiting for a child to be born. I'm sure many others have felt the same way. My kids and I watched the introduction online last Sunday evening and loved what we saw. Glad I decided to wait. Nothing against the C6, I'd still love to have one, but waiting is the best decision for me.
Having said all that, I couldn't agree with you more.

I asked people to re-evaluate. Did you not read that ?
if you don't like the C7, then write a letter to GM.

Very well written! I completely agree. Enough is enough. I don't like Mustangs and you certainly don't see me on the Ford the forums. If you don't like the C7, we get it. Just move on and allow the enthusiast to enjoy this site.
An alternative might to be have a section here dedicated to the C7 rant. That way real Corvette enthusiesst have a place to voice their displeasure without having to turn productive threads into pissing contents or flood this section with rant topic after rant topic.
Anyway, thanks for posting this and doing in a contructive and diplomatic manner.

I would venture to say that you then are not the demographic that the OP was targeting. As I said in my post, if you are still undecided or want to learn more about the car, odds are you aren't staring a new thread every fifteen minutes describing how you hate the tail lights, the dash that looks like it is out of a video game, the contrasting vents on the hood and rear quarter panels. Instead you are reading, discussing and learning about the car as information becomes available and contributing something constructive to the group.
